A nonprofit organisation built around young people.
Cause Youth Project (CYP) is a nonprofit organisation supporting young people through safe, structured activities that build confidence, independence, and life skills - from after-school clubs and peer mentoring to NEET pathways and partner-commissioned sessions.

Who we are
We're a youth-led nonprofit organisation set up in 2024 to create welcoming, structured spaces for young people. Our team is made up of DBS-checked staff, trained volunteers, and youth leaders who've come up through the programme themselves.
Why CYP exists
Too many young people don't have somewhere safe to go after school, someone to turn to when school isn't working, or a way back into education or work when life knocks them off course. CYP exists to close that gap with practical, structured, inclusive support.
Our mission
To empower young people through community, skills and volunteering - building the confidence, relationships, and practical skills they need to thrive as adults.
Who we support
- · School-age young people aged 12–15 (after-school, weekends, holidays)
- · NEET young people aged 16–24 (weekdays, daytime)
- · Home-educated young people and their families
- · Young people referred by social services
- · Neurodivergent young people and their families
Our values
Safety first
Safeguarding underpins every activity, every session, every conversation.
Youth-led
Young people shape the work. We listen, then we build with them.
Inclusive by design
Neurodivergent young people, all backgrounds, all stories - welcome.
